A Ph.D holder in Environmental Science, Manisha possesses extensive experience in climate change, environmental concerns, and sustainability. Her clientele includes multilateral and bilateral funding agencies like UN agencies, the World Bank Group, DFID, ADB, GIZ, SDC, CDKN, in addition to several top-tier global corporations. She has worked extensively for clients in various regions of India, as well as in international locations such as Abu Dhabi, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Eswatini, Sudan, South Africa, and more.
In a professional tenure of 22 years, Manisha has worked in diverse areas, including:
Environmental Stewardship: Covering circular economy, formulation of environmental policies and strategies, environmental impact assessments, life cycle assessments, considerations related to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), as well as aspects like water and waste management and environmental trade;
Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation: Involving projects, policy development, strategic planning, action plans, greenhouse gas emissions reporting, and strategies aimed at achieving net-zero emissions;
Climate Finance and Climate Fund Management: Focusing on the financial aspects of climate-related initiatives;
Disaster Risk Management: Strategies and measures to address and mitigate risks associated with disasters;
Natural Resource Management and Value Chain: Management of natural resources and analysis of value chains within organizations.
